80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy - In-Canada signature event in Moncton, NB

The Government of Canada is pleased to invite the public to its signature in-Canada event on June 6, 2024, to commemorate the 80^th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy during the Second World War. This year, the signature event will take place in Victoria Park in Moncton, New Brunswick, with a traditional wreath-laying ceremony at the Cenotaph followed by musical and cultural performances at the amphitheatre. The official Government of Canada delegation, including some Veterans of the Second World War, will be present. Public participants should plan to arrive by 2:00pm as the event will begin promptly at 2:30pm.

In the event of severe inclement weather, the event will take place at the Moncton Coliseum.
