Join us for a solemn and heartfelt ceremony as we pay tribute to Pilot Bryan Hughes, son of Donald Bruce and Doris M. Hughes, of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pilot Bryan Hughes served with distinction in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during World War II. Tragically, he was lost in aircraft Harvard RCAF 3269 on July 13, 1942, at the young age of 19. He bravely served in the No. 14 Service Flying Training School (SFTS) in Aylmer. This ceremony aims to honor the memory and sacrifice of Pilot Bryan Hughes, recognizing his dedication to duty and his ultimate sacrifice for his country and the cause of freedom.
