Festubert is a village about 6 kilometres east of Bethune and BROWN'S ROAD MILITARY CEMETERY is a little south-west of the village and just west of the road from Festubert to Givenchy.

  • Circumstances of death registers– Source: Library and Archives Canada. CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH REGISTERS, FIRST WORLD WAR. Surnames: Duane to Dzhobiewski. Microform Sequence 30; Volume Number 31829_B016739. Reference RG150, 1992-93/314, 174. Page 307 of 1062. He was buried in Le Plantin Cemetery, opposite Welsh Chapel, Givenchy les-la Bassee, 2 ½ miles West of La Bassee. After the Armistice his body was exhumed and buried in BROWN'S ROAD MILITARY CEMETERY, FESTUBERT.
