Cerisy is a village 11 kilometres south of Albert, 2 kilometres east of the main road from Albert to Moreuil. The CERISY-GAILLY MILITARY CEMETERY is on the west side of the village on the road to Gailly and Le Hamel and the French National Cemetery is on the south side of this.

Microform Sequence 28; Volume Number 31829_B016737. Reference RG150, 1992-93/314, 172. Page 681 of 1084. He was initially buried in BEAUFORT BRITISH CEMETERY. After the Armistice, his body was exhumed and buried in Cerisy-Gailly Military Cemetery.
