Son of Joseph Robidoux and Albina Olivier (deceased in 1907), of Sorel, Québec. Wounded to the head in September 1916 at Courcelette, he was repatriated to heal from a nervous shock, and while convalescing in a Sanatorium in Guelph, Ontario, he accidentally drowned during a canoe ride.
