He enlisted into the C.E.F. at Toronto Ont. on Feb. 20th 1918 listing his occupation as "Machinist"  He died during the Spanish Flu panademic of 1918-19 on Oct. 30th 1918 at the age of 28.  He was laid to rest in the Mountain View cemetery of Vancouver BC.
