The following information on the crew is found on www.lostbomers.co.uk:
F/Sgt. Youngs served on 431 Squadron in Halifax LW572 which was airborne 1523 on July 18, 1944 from their base at Croft to attack railway yards at Vaires.  The aircraft crashed 6 km SE of l'Isle-Adam. 
The pilot, P/O F. A. Longstaff, survived and was taken Prisoner of War.
F/S Youngs and the other crew members killed are now buried in Boran-sur-Oise Communal Cemetery. They are:
Sgt Ralph S. Cole, age 22, from Montreal, P.Q. 
F /O John W.  K. Dunn, age 35, from Victoria, B.C.
Sgt Gordon Jackson, age 28, from Toronto, Ont.
P/O Douglas A. Cooper, age 25, from Toronto, Ont.
and RAF Sgt Joseph E. Williams.
