Location:

Avesnes-sur-Helpe is a town 90 kilometres south-east of Lille and 14 kilometres south of Maubeuge. The latter town is on the main road from Paris to Brussels, near the Franco-Belgian frontier. The AVESNES-SUR-HELPE COMMUNAL CEMETERY is on the main Landcrecie/Maroille/Fourmies road and stands on the right side of the road (D962) at the entrance of the town.
