Son of Benjamin Feltham of Glovertown, Bonavista Bay, Newfoundland. Brother of Ivy, Les and Annie.
Jonathon Feltham and his uncle William Henry Feltham, both of Glovertown, Bonavista Bay, enlisted in the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit and travelled together on the same ship to Scotland, arriving at Glasgow on 9 February 1940. Henry was assigned to work as a camp cook and he arranged to have Jonathon work with him as his helper. Jonathon fell ill shortly after their arrival and died at Culduthil Hospital in Inverness on 26 March 1940.
