The Kut War Cemetery is on the northern edge of the town of Kut, at the point where the Baghdad road enters it, about 800 metres from the river. Note: The Commonwealth War Graves Commission strongly advises that the Foreign and Commonwealth Office should be contacted before attempting to visit Iraq. Their details are as follows:
