L’hôpital Eastern Shore Memorial a été construit en 1949 à la mémoire des hommes et des femmes de la région qui avaient fait la guerre et de ceux qui y avaient été tués. Son nom a été transféré au nouvel hôpital construit en 1976, et l’édifice abrite maintenant un foyer pour personnes âgées, le Doctor Duncan MacMillan Nursing Home.
