Cette plaque est dédiée au lieutenant Herbert Stopford Maunsell, mort alors qu’il servait au sein du Royal Warwickshire Regiment pendant la Première Guerre mondiale. Son père était le brigadier-général George Stopford Maunsell, du Corps du Génie royal canadien, directeur des services du Génie à Ottawa.
