2026 Women Veterans Forum
Thank you to everyone who registered to attend the 2026 Women Veterans Forum taking place June 9–10 in Ottawa, Ontario. We are grateful for the strong interest and support for this year’s event.
Registration for in-person attendance is now closed as we have reached capacity. Official confirmation of in-person attendance will be communicated directly to participants. Please note that due to capacity, not every participant who registered for in-person will receive an invite to attend the Forum in-person. Those who are unable to attend in-person will be invited to participate virtually. Virtual participation remains available, and online registration will remain open until June 4.
The council will provide the Minister of Veterans Affairs with insight on specific initiatives and priority areas from each member’s lived experience.

On 9 and 16 February 2023, the Minister of Veterans Affairs hosted the third forum for Women Veterans and 2SLGBTQI+ Veterans.
In 2020 Veterans Affairs Canada hosted a series of 4 virtual events focused on Women and LGBTQ2+ Veterans. These events provided an opportunity to continue the dialogue from the 2019 forum.
The first of its kind in Canada to discuss specific challenges women face in their lives after service.
