Giant floor maps recreate the First World War in the classroom
With support from Veterans Affairs Canada’s Commemorative Partnership Program, an Ottawa-based production company partnered with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society to develop and distribute giant floor maps of the First World War. The project gave students a hands-on way to learn about the war and the experiences of Canadian soldiers.
