Established in 2001, the Research Directorate supports Departmental decision makers and planners by supplying scientific evidence related to military and Veteran well-being. To do this, the team conducts and supports research projects, monitors and interprets international research, provides methodological expertise to help guide strategic decisions; and engages in knowledge transfer and exchange both within VAC and with numerous other partners and stakeholders.
