Mr. Ewart is a Veteran of the Second World War. He has been a member and dedicated volunteer of the Royal Canadian Legion for 51 years. Committed to serving and supporting Veterans, Mr. Ewart provides care and compassion to his comrades at every opportunity by visiting those who are hospitalized or in long-term care homes. He is a life member of RCL Branch 001 in Regina, having held numerous executive positions, including president and past-president. He has also served, or chaired, most committees within the branch. Mr. Ewart is an active member of the RCL’s Colour Party, which assists at Veterans’ funerals.
