Mario St-Vincent

Mario St-Vincent is nominated for his devotion to the Veterans of his community and his work with the Veterans UN NATO Canada.

As a member of the Veterans UN NATO Laurentides Region, he has held several leadership roles including his current position as President. The main focus in this role has been the health and wellbeing of his membership and the Veterans in the community. He invests countless hours helping Veterans escape the risk of isolation in these difficult times.

Throughout the year, he actively plans a full calendar of activities and ceremonies primarily aimed to support Veterans’ mental health and overall wellbeing. These events include weekly gatherings, billiards tournaments, bowling tournaments and snowshoeing just to name a few. He is very active in encouraging the participation of Veterans in Canada Day celebrations and commemorative events such as the annual motorcycle rides.

A problem solver at heart, he is a great communicator who often applies his experience from his military career to help resolve conflicts that occur from time to time between his fellow Veterans. He is always looking out for his comrades and makes sure he is available at all times to help them no matter what the need is.
