Some of Canada’s most important and difficult military efforts occurred in Asia. Experiences in places like Hong Kong, Korea, Cambodia and Afghanistan changed the world, changed Canada and shaped the lives of all who served. Members of Canada’s armed forces demonstrated professionalism, resilience and kindness in challenging situations. It's important to recognize and appreciate their selfless service.
