Tunneller’s Cup in memory of the contributions made by Canadian tunnellers during the First and Second World Wars. In 1989, the Tunnellers’ Association offered a trophy, in the form of silver cup, for competition among Construction Engineering Units sections of the CME. The aim of the competition is to develop construction engineering military occupational skills and to promote esprit de corps among CME members of the Regular and Reserve forces. The Tunneller’s Cup was first presented in 1990 and is awarded annually to Construction Engineering units with the best project in construction engineering.
