This memorial is a Mark 44 air-to-sea torpedo, a weapon used by the Canadian military. It was transported to the Memorial Park in 1996, to be part of the park's air force collection, and was dedicated on 17 July 1997 by members of 423 (Maritime) Helicopter Squadron of the Canadian Forces.
