This memorial is dedicated to the men of the parishes of Perth and Andover who served in First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. It was erected by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 36. It was designed by two Second World War Veterans, Legion President at the time, Duncan M. Tomlinson and Donald Hollins. Alex Thompson, Barney Armstrong and Harry Carpenter served with them on the Cenotaph Committee. The memorial was constructed in 1958 and most of the material and labour were donated to construct it. The memorial is situated on a one hundred by one hundred foot lot in front of the Memorial Arena. November 11th Armistice Services are held at the memorial site every year.
