The Salem Community First and Second World Wars Honour Roll was originally located in Salem United Church located at 12295 Innis Lake Road, Caledon, Ontario. East Peel Pastoral Charge was formed in 1952 when Caledon East and Mono Road Pastoral Charges united. It included Caledon East, Salem Church in Albion Township, and Sandhill. It ceased circa 1986 when Caledon East United Church formed its own single-point charge and Salem and Sandhill formed a two-point charge, Salem-Sandhill Pastoral Charge. The Honour Roll was moved to the Early family home at 5754 Old School Road.
This style of an Honour Roll was designed by A.J. Casson when he worked at Sampson-Matthews, a prominent midtown Toronto lithography and commercial art company. The Honour Roll was created after the Second World War and it is not known when it was unveiled.
