The Currie Hall building dedicated to General Sir Arthur Currie, was designed in 1922 by Percy Erskine Nobbs to honour the Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War I. Over the main entrance, on the outside wall is the exterior limestone carving of the Royal Coat of Arms of Canada and motto `A mari usque ad mare`.
