This sculpture, “PARA DROP” depicts a Drop Zone in winter with a jumper collapsing his chute in the foreground, other jumpers at various stages of parachute descent, and a Hercules C-130 aircraft in the distant sky dropping another string of jumpers into the Drop Zone. It was unveiled in March 2013 and is dedicated to current and past paratroopers/members of the Canadian Airborne Regiment.
