This memorial is dedicated to the alumni, cadets, and staff of the Royal Military College of Canada; in particular those affiliate with the Royal Canadian Armoured Regiment. The 155-mm M109A4 Medium Self-Propelled Howitzer was unveiled in the immediate post-WWI and WWII era, when the Royal Military College installed Armoured Fighting Vehicles on the College grounds.
