Notice:

The National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials is a public, crowd-sourced registry that helps Canadians learn about memorials in their communities. Inclusion in the Inventory does not imply VAC ownership or authority. Responsibility for the care, management, and any changes to a memorial rests with its owning or governing organization.

This sculpture, Pax, at the entrance to Currie Hall, was donated by the people and government of France in gratitude for the sacrifice of the graduates of the Royal Military College of Canada during the Great War. The sculpture depicts a female figure, who is gowned, helmeted and wears armour. She is seated upright in a chair and holds a sword.
