The Canadians of Dutch descent of the Wyoming and surrounding area presented this plaque to the Wyoming Royal Canadian Legion Branch 388 on May 5, 1995, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Holland from German occupation in 1940 - 1945. They express their gratitude to local Veterans and the allied forces - air, land and sea - who participated and paid a high price for their freedom and peace.
