A Belgium glass chalice was gifted to St. Peter's by the Victoria Cross and George Cross Association in 1977. It was presented by overseas chairman of the association, Lieutenant-Colonel David Currie, VC, to commemorate the 1976 Cobourg visit of Victoria Cross and George Cross Canadian recipients. The visit was organized on November 7, 1976, with the help of St. Peter's and all but three of the Canadian recipients were present at the commemoration.
