This statuette was sculpted by Colonel (Retired) André D. Gauthier OMM, CD. It was presented to the Artillery Section by LCol NH Connolly, Maj HP Mundell, Maj MD Capstick and CWO (Mr Gnr) CM Bowden in July 1985.

It is stored on the 2nd floor of the Army Officers Mess in Ottawa. The statuette is dedicated to the Ottawa Gunners.

Blowpipe Figure
This model features a gunner with the Blowpipe, a man-portable surface-to-air missile (MANPADS) which was in use with 129th Air Defence Battery, Royal Canadian Artillery in the 1980s. This model was presented to Artillery Section by LCol NH Connolly, Maj HP Mundell, Maj MD Capstick and CWO (Mr Gnr) CM Bowden in July 1985.
