From winter 1951 – 1952 the Canadian Army conducted offensive and defensive operations in the advance to and withdrawal from the 38^th parallel. The Royal Canadian Navy, with 3 destroyers in Korean waters at all times conducted evacuations, shore bombardment, patrols and blockades. The Royal Canadian Air Force contributed 426 Transport Squadron, and 22 RCAF pilots were attached to the United States Fifth Air Force and flew with Sabre-equipped fighter interceptor squadrons.

Les trois destroyers de la Marine Royale du Canada ont procédé à des évacuations, des bombardements du littoral, des patrouilles et des blocus dans les eaux coréennes.
