This memorial plaque is a tribute to the service rendered by Canadian military members involved in peacekeeping operations.
This plaque is one of 39 plaques unveiled in 2009 at Hylands Golf Club. The plaques commemorate former Ottawa-area military installations, a military patron saint, battle honours, ships, units, and squadrons.

Peacekeepers – Casques Bleus
Since 1948 Canadian sailors, soldiers, airmen and airwomen have continuously served with honour and distinction in peacekeeping operations for the United Nations. They uphold the honour of those who served before them and set the example for those who will follow.
Depuis 1948, les matelots, les soldats, les aviateurs et aviatrices canadiens ont toujours servi avec honneur et distinction dans les opérations de maintien de la paix pour les Nations Unies. Ils ont fait honneur à ceux qui ont servi avant eux et servent d’exemple à ceux qui suivront.
