This organ was built in 1894 by Samuel R. Warren of Montreal for Government House chapel. In 1914, after the demolition of the chapel
it was transferred to St. Bartholomew's by the Duchess of Connaught. It was rebuilt in 1955 with electro pneumatic action and dedicated in memory of the parishioners who gave their lives in the Second World War.

Extensive work was undertaken in 1977 to restore the organ and it was rededicated on 16 October 1977. In 1993, it was restored again in honour of a British Diplomat, Charlotte Rycroft, who died that year in a car crash. When the organ was replaced in 2013, the plaque was removed and kept by the church.
