As a Millennium project, the students of the Plattsville & District Public School and the Plattsville Christian School, along with members of the community, erected a cenotaph at the Memorial Park. The names of those who made the supreme sacrifice in the First and Second World Wars are displayed on a plaque. The memorial was dedicated November 11, 2000.
