This memorial, erected in 1964 by the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Association (Cavalry), is dedicated to the memory of Major General F.F. Worthington, the founder and first Commandant of what is now the Armour School.

Sometime prior to February 2022, the plaque on the memorial was removed.
