This memorial is dedicated to the members of St. Paul Street United Church who served in the First and Second World Wars. It was erected by the parishioners of St. Paul Street United Church.

This location is now home to Silver Spire United Church which came into existence on July 1, 2008, as an amalgamation of three former downtown St. Catharines churches: Memorial United, St. Paul Street United and Welland Avenue United.
