This memorial commemorates the Battle of Atlantic and is dedicated to the men aboard the Royal Canadian ships lost to enemy action in the Second World War. It is not known who erected this memorial.

In some employment meriting no praise

They have outlived this fear, and their brave ends
Will ever be an honour to their friends."
