This memorial was constructed in the memory of the men and women of Port Arthur who died in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean Conflict. It was built in 1925 by the McCallum Granite Co. of Kingston, Ontario, through efforts of the Women's Canadian Club, at a cost of $8,000.
