Veterans memorial park was built (2005-2009) as a tribute to the servicemen and women of Iroquois Falls who served in Canada's Armed Forces in the Boer War, First World War, Second World War, Korean War, United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It was made possible by the combined efforts of the Town of Iroquois Falls, volunteers, local contractors and businesses, and by the generous financial contributions of the families, friends and supporters.  

Branch 70 of the Royal Canadian Legion developed the park as a lasting memorial to their comrades. Located in the park are: Second World War Kedge Anchor, M113A2 Armoured Personnel Carrier and Veterans Memorial.

IT WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY THE COMBINED EFFORTS OF THE

CONTRACTORS AND BUSINESSES, AND BY THE GENEROUS
FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND
SUPPORTERS OF THIS TRIBUTE TO CANADIAN VETERANS FROM
THIS MUNICIPALITY.

BRANCH 70 OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION HAS BEEN
HONOURED TO DEVELOP THIS PARK AS A LASTING MEMORIAL
TO OUR COMRADES.
