On November 14, 1920, at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, a stained glass window and bronze tablet were unveiled and dedicated to the memory of the 83 members of the congregation who lost their lives in the First World War. The window consists of ten lights in two sections and was installed on the north wall of the church. In the top section, lights were given by Mr. E.A. Thompson and family to the memory of Corporal A.B. Thompson; by the choir to perpetuate the memory of six of their former choristers; and by the sister and brother of Sergeant F.G. Edmonson. The lower section was provided by members of the congregation.
