A Book of Remembrance was donated to St. Mark's, West Toronto, in memory of soldiers from both World Wars.
St. Mark’s Carlton Village (aka St. Mark’s, West Toronto) was first established in 1828 on the south-east corner of Ford Street and Connolly Street. In 1929, a new site was acquired on Blackthorn Avenue, just a few blocks north and east. In 1970, St. Mark’s, West Toronto and Calvary Church amalgamated in the St. Mark’s building under the new name St. Mark & Calvary and held its last service on Christmas Day 2011. The building is now the home of the Cornerstone Baptist Tabernacle.
