A tablet dedicated to parishioners who gave their lives was unveiled in 1922 at St. Mary the Virgin, 36 Westmoreland Avenue. The first St. Mary the Virgin, was located on the north-west corner of Bloor and Delaware until 1914, when a new building was erected on Westmoreland. In 1966, the amalgamated with St. Cyprian’s, Manning Avenue and formed St. Mary the Virgin & St. Cyprian’s which closed in 2002.
