A Roll of Honour in memory of Humbercrest Methodist Church parishioners who served in the First World War was donated to the church and later transferred to a Book of Remembrance in 1961. The Honour Roll is rolled up in a sealed tube at the Humbercrest United Church Archives.

Humbercrest Methodist Church began in 1912 as the Jane Street Mission, located at the northwest corner of Jane and Raymond Avenue. In 1914, the congregation moved to a basement church at its present United Church site on Baby Point Road at Thornhill Avenue. In 1924 a new church building was dedicated. It became Humbercrest United Church in 1925. A new addition was added to the existing building in 1950, which is now the present Sanctuary.
