On October 12, 1919, a stained glass window was unveiled honouring North Broadview Avenue Presbyterian Church parishioners who gave their lives in the First World War. The window was designed and built by C.D. Warner, a member of the congregation. It consisted of three panels - the central one depicts the Good Shepherd with a staff, holding a lamb in his arms, and the others with laurels and crown listing the 16 names who were killed while on active service.

North Broadview Avenue Presbyterian Church closed and amalgamated with Danforth Avenue United Church (Methodist, pre-1925) to form Eastminster United Church in the Danforth Avenue building. Eastminster United Church is now known as East End United Church. The stained glass window at 9 Dearbourne Avenue was moved to the Danforth Avenue church.
