A tablet honouring St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church parishioners who gave their lives in the First World War was unveiled by Reverend John Pringle, DD on April 4, 1920. Reverend Pringle lost his son in the war and read from a letter he received from him a few days before his death.

A cross on the tablet stands out above the names and on either side are representations of flaming torches. It is not known what happened to the plaque that was formerly located in the church at 73 Simcoe Street.

Inscription

"These are the men from St. Andrew's Church, who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914-1918."
