The cairn monument, which was erected near the former site of Ebor School by citizens of Ebor after WWI, commemorates soldiers from the local area who served and were killed in the First World War.
Another monument, erected by the Ebor Women’s Institute in 1982, commemorates the community of Ebor that was situated here.
