The Strathclair Cenotaph was dedicated in the summer of 1925 in memory of the local war dead of the First World War. It was erected by the Soldiers' Association of Strathclair and financially assisted by the Rural Municipality of Strathclair. The cenotaph has a pointed Gothic top, roughened outline and carvings of a wreath with ribbon.
An addition was later added for the names from the Second World War and NATO.
