The Women's Tri-Service Monument was dedicated on July 4, 1976, in memory of the women that served or gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars. The 1.83m monument was created by sculptor Helen Granger Young and depicts three women standing back to back in Second World War era military dress. One woman wears the uniform of the Canadian Women's Army Corps, one wears the uniform of the Royal Canadian Air Force Women's Division, and one wears the uniform of the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service.

The monument was flown to Winnipeg from Alberta by a Canadian Forces Hercules transport aircraft in early June 1976. It was bronzed at Studio West foundry in Cochrane, Alberta. It was erected by the Women’s Tri-Service Association World War I and World War II Veterans of Winnipeg. The Memorial was later rededicated by Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II.
