Unveiled on 14 August 1938, this memorial was erected by local citizens in honour of the local war dead and deceased veterans of the First World War. It was built with funding raised by New Denver-Silverton Branch #101. Trail Branch #11 of Trail, British Columbia, donated the bronze plaque. Annual Armistice and Remembrance Day Services held annually. Upkeep, maintenance, flowers and care done by the Legionaries, supported by the local village council.
