The Squamish Cenotaph was constructed in memory of Our Honoured Dead 1914-1918 - 1939-1945. Later, a second plaque was added to the cenotaph in memory of the Korea war. The Cenotaph is used for the wreath laying ceremonies on Remembrance Day each year. The Cenotaph also is used for the Flag Raising Ceremony each year on July 1.
