The Givency Road Canadian Cemetery (originally called CD 1*) contains the graves of soldiers all of whom fell on 9 April 1917, or on one of the four following days. There are now over one hundred First World War casualties commemorated in this site. The cemetery covers an area of 849 square metres and is enclosed by a rubble wall.

There are 108 Canadians buried here from the Battle of Vimy Ridge. To find all soldiers buried at this cemetery, visit the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

* The standard naming practice for the numerous groups of graves made about this time by the Canadian Corps Burial Office were to use letters and numbers to identify each site.
